I am planning to buy a prosumer DC during this Christmas holidays, i am thinking of 5700, 5400, G5 and A1, honestly 5700 is my favorite, but lot's of people complained it's focus speed very slow ....... and i am guessing the second version of 5700 will come out in 2004 ...... coz 2001 came out CP5000, 2003 came out 5400, 2 years for the second version, and 5700 has came out 1 year already ....... ( that's all i guess) However G5 is a very perfect model as well ....... A1 has lot's of functions ........ their picture quality both very very good as well ........ That’s why i couldn't make up my mind !

Could anyone share their experience with using those DC? so that i can choose the right one, THX~

A-1 is sightly better than 5700 in turns of focus speed, but for lens quality and picture quality , 5700 will win in picture quality, 4 lens quality, both are not bad

thx for those information, but don't know why 5700 still 7xxx dollars ..... it has came out for 1 year already ....... 5400 is the newest model of Nikon, but it just 6xxx, ( G5 as well ), but in quallity, 5400 is 28mm, A1 is 28mm as well, which one would be better lea?

A1 ccd 是用2/3寸，5400是用1/1.8寸的，A1比較大，應該會好一點

but i saw some post said that A1 has lot's of noise in the picture ...... is that true? by the way, how much is A1 now?
