1.5" LCD is okay in practice, all you need is to compose. You can't do precise manual focus anyway, even with 1.8" LCD, so bigger size will only give you more viewing pleasure, nothing more. Overall A80 is a good camera with low noise, good sharpness & good battery life. The variable angle LCD is useful. Here have some of my samples.
