Cux in my opinion D100 isn't that bad... I think the only problem with it... is portrail is not as good as Canon... but when do landscrape is a little better then Canon... (even the Japanese Magazine said that 2...)

since I don't do much portrail... so I pick D100...

I've been using D100 for three months:

The problem of D100 is...
1. Problem of dust adhering to CCD is serious. You need to buy an adapter to open the shutter to clean it, which costs you $560-700.

2. MB 100 battery pack is so expensive $1500-$2000.
3. Quality of photo even at lowest compression ratio of JPEG at 600 M pixel is not excellent, you must have very high quality lens (the two i mentioned below) as comprise or you should use RAW.

4. Post editing is usually required, especially if you take photos with RAW.

Still, I love D100 even though I own Canon EOS 300D and EOS 50 SLR and Canon lens.


Lens I own and highly recommend:
AF 85mm 1.4D
AF300mm f 2.8 ED IF (Used with D100 = 450mm)

but the own problem with the 300mm F2.8 is around $30000...

I also would like 2 buy that one as well...

I bought AF-S 300mm f/2.8D IF-ED II in white on May. / Jun. 03 from MAN-SHING is HK$ 26,000.00 (special offer because after the "SARS") But my friend quote from last week is HK$ 28,000.00

1)我現有部fuji 6900z
在s602 同 s5000 出既時間我到唔動心換
因為我覺得呢個level 既 DC始終係有個局限性
同埋自己真係想有一部D-SLR 既機
2)手頭上冇任何鏡頭
3)BUTGET 部BODY 就預左要成約12000至13000到
LENS 個到可以有5000-6000到
全數約18000到
4)最大既問題有兄弟終於提中左
宜呢個問題就係我最大既問題
我係影人多過影景, 所以10D好似合我多d
但我想用sigma 或tamron 鏡, 因為平用多鏡種, 所以D100又會合我要求
取個中間的話, 就走左部S2 Pro 出黎

所以.......各位再俾多d意見

whyman is right... but chances r... some lens won't work as good as Canon one... when you focusing on 2 near objects u may not able to focusing on the objects that you want... it's happen some the time... My friend r work in Mongkok camera shop... he said that Canon always has some minor problem with 3rd party lens...

But again... this is only a minor problem on some 3rd party lens... not all... My friend also own a 10D... but he only use L series lens(he is rich... =^_^=) And since he is a Pro... he also said that Canon focusing has a small minor problem...

S2 Pro... the last thing u want to buy for D-SLR... I know Nikon D100 is not that common in HK... but S2 Pro is even worst... u can try 2 find one today in most shop I don't think you can find one... I just check with Fujifilm today... and they don't even have stocks... they said they won't get the stocks until after the X'mas...

Basic set... but u may want to replace it one day... =^_^=
a) Nikon 50mm F1.8 around $900 (good start...)
b) Nikon 85mm F1.8 around $2300 (4 Close up)
or
Sigma 20mm F1.8 around $2500 (4 Wide)
c) Nikon AF-S 24-85mm F3.5-4.5G ED around $2500 (basic lens)
or
Nikon 28-200mm F3.5-5.6 around $2500 (real cheap lens...)

Long term use...
a) Nikon 50mm F1.4 around $2000 (the best...)
b) Nikon AF-S 24-120mm F3.5-5.6 VR ED around $4000 (standard use...unless u want to buy AF-S 28-70mm F2.8 ED)

Maybe... Sigma 20mm F1.8

P.S. if you do want to switch to Canon... they have same lens... (only no 85mm F1.4 but with a better lens 85mm F1.2L)

also DC 135mm F2... only a better lens 135mm F2L...

6000 butget 主要係因為我睇個左2個組合而成
sigma 15-30 mm $3456
sigma 28-300mm $1782

tamron 28-200mm ~$2400
另外一支tamron 短鏡好似 $4000 到

因為無論咩牌子
我個組合都會係一支最短 (~15 to 20 or 30) 夾一支全天候鏡 (28 to 200 or 300)

life兄你記唔記得你講個支sigma 12-24, 呢支我亦有考慮, 不過我唔見市面有呢支鏡

好似兩部在對焦上都好有問題
1) 呢個係咪現階段D-SLR 既技術問題

2)有討論話sigma 係逆光情況下有fog及光斑, 呢個問題係咪好嚴重?其實假如用在D100上, sigma 同 tamron 邊隻會發揮到應有水準?

同埋大家係memory 上都好大食, 我睇過有篇文章話用raw format, 1024 mb 都係得160張相?
3) raw format 係咪D-SLR save 相既標準

4)有冇聽過D70, 係2004出, 有咩睇法? 係唔係D100既次一級? ( 因為理論上高一級, 型號會比較大)

其實只要解決到對焦既問題, 兩部都冇咩所謂, 因為有本站討論話用10D, 連原裝鏡對焦都會有minor error , 佢亦承認canon d 機係有minor error, 而自己始終對nikon 多d信心, 不過係nikon 鏡頭上個價錢就想死d, 所以希望聽多d意見睇下
