If you have interest in improving your photography skills, definitely V1.

V1 has many features that you could explore and discover after you get so sick of all the auto features. Something you could keep and not change for newer DCs after a short while. It can be the lightest compared to other DCs with manual capability. Other (optional) accessories such as tripod, external flash, wide angle, and zoom lens allowed if you wish to invest and explore further.

T1 has limited features and everything is auto. The LCD is bigger but to save on battery life, it is not that clear. No ext flash and tripod capability. No other accessories allowed.

I will pick V1. It is easier to hold and not that much bigger. Its feature sets make it more suitable for wider range of applications. A colleague showed me his new T1 last week and its real nice. So if you need a trendy one, it should be the one.

以price同相片來比較,當然是V-1好過T-1啦~你可以去吓d鋪頭試吓機(但講真,真係唔好問d sales邊隻好,如果你係女仔,可以會sell你買其他機),T-1 D相真係唔得,你可以試吓,個LCD好唔得.連睇返相都唔清,V-1d相真係好清,連preview都清(放大)~,講真,有邊d靚機個Lens會細個過一毫子??只是snap-shot先會細Lens~

but T-1 has a super marco with 3.3 magnification
but i dun recommend that, cuz that's not the function u will always use,
take V-1, fast and easy control, good focus and nightshoot
