As my opinion, Carl Zesis should be most famous but i CAN'T & WON'T say which is the best among of them.

Carl Zesis has wide-spread her production in most optical devices, from the eyeglasses u wear to Military aiming devices, ... She also sells her lenses to many different companies.

Say again, this ONLY my opinion

信乃達, - I do not know this name

They all professional , no need to consider their color output.
They all with good photo shooting.

Leica = only 35mm lens and varies optical instrument, their lens show vivid color and nice bokeh

Carl Zeiss = Most Wide application Optical maker, from microscope to large format lens, very good optical performance, low distrotion, color tend to true life and good low level details

Schneider: They own Scotte glass factory that make heoplan and B+W filter, and they're lens mostly found in medium and large format camera, and cinema projection.

Rodenstock: Mostly found in medium and large format camera, and their glasses is very famous.

The lens quality, performance and charactistics is difference from lens to lens design, so no one will be the best, all of them is world-top optical maker.

萊卡並不是獨立鏡頭廠，如果閣下係因爲fz10之類數碼相機而認識萊卡，我可以同你講，用在fz-x上邊的萊卡鏡頭簡直係萊卡的恥辱。
如果係都要講三雄，都應該係Zeiss、Rodenstock、Schneider。

fz-x,lc 1等DC請問賣多少錢?
同樣情況也在SONY的ZEISS上發生
哈哈....所以它們也負上了假蔡絲,假徠卡之名

Excellent, this is the first time i hear that use weight to measure the lens' quality!!!!!

Russian lens' must the best because they are very heavy!

well, the fact actually is that Leica give the Panasonic some technology(sure not all)then let the Pansaonic produce the so called " leica" lens under Leica's condition, under Leica's quality test(maybe lower standard)then, Panasonic and tell the world that they use Leica lens.
In fact, Lecia receive money from Panasonic 2........

But for original factory using it's own lens, that's much better, like Minolta, Ziess etc
