I am using G2. I took photos some days ago. The outcome is not good at all. If I use flash, sometimes, it may too bright for the object, sometimes, too dark for the background. If I do not use flash, the shutter will be slower and my hand may shake.

It was so sad that the moment has already wasted. But, I really wanna know how to improve it next time.

I know that there is 飲宴 mode for Nikon 4500. Could any user tell me what is the setting of this mode? and how to use G2 in this way if I don't have any external flash?

I am not use G2 but C5050. I will turn to ISO200 with flash off and with noise reduction. The photo is OK. You may try.

mingtam, if you do not use flash, won't the shutter speed decrease and shaking easily occur?

I can hold the camera at about 1/30 to 1/25 sec. It is still OK.

If you adjust the White Balance. It will be very good.

I am using C4000.

My skill is:

using manual mode,
increase iso to 200
increase the power of flash
open the largest aperture
adjust the shutter not below 1/10 sec (it depends on the stability of your hand)
use single point lighting detection mode

when you arrive the restaurant / hotel, try to take some trial photos to test the best setting before you take the actual photos with people.
