S20 Pro is almost a S7000, but with a 3M effective pixel (6M if you count S and R seperatedly) SCCD SR instead of a 6M SCCD HR.
It probably has the same buffer size as S7000, but at half the output size it can store twice the number in burst mode.
Other notable additions from S7000: Firewire, ISO 800 in full resolution, FinePix Professional and HS-V2 (RAW conveter) softs, PC sync.
IF the SR chip in S20 Pro (and S3 Pro as well) turns on to be able to increase the dynamic range (some people on dpreview.com forums tested F700 and found the camera doesn't use all the potential of SCCD SR), it may draw some interests.
However, at US$999 I doubt its popularity, maybe the SCCD SR is THAT good? Or Fuji is just mocking up the MSRP? Or something else?
