If it is expected that a DC will not be used for sometime, most of us will remove the batteries from the DC, in order to avoid accidental leakage of fluid from the batteries causing damage to the DC. Do you have the habit of removing the memory card as well (There is nothing leaking out from the card, I suppose)? In fact, is it a good practice to do so?
