It is because I can control the colour and quality by myself. My job is related many colour management work and the photo laboratory cannot develop the photo that satisify my requirement. (contrast too high, too plain, incorrect colour...)

Moreover, you can find many interesting thing during you develop the photo by you self.

I am using Epson 2100 (too expensive but the quality is better than all the desktop printer) + economy photo paper (I will ise premium photo paper for the best photo) + original inlk (of course).

其實我好同意由 “一手一腳” 去影相﹐然後到最後 print 埋張相出來﹐應該係好好玩﹐以及﹐非常有滿足感﹐既然大家都係喜歡玩相的人﹐講真﹐玩得這玩意就預左花錢架啦﹐如果下下都唸住省錢不如乜都唔好玩﹐以前就話有錢都玩唔到曬相﹐現在既然有得玩﹐而且﹐又比較方便﹐如果能力不是有限的話﹐當然全程玩埋 print 相應該好玩好多。 但問題只不過﹐本人唔知應該買邊款好 ??????
另外﹐今期的 DC photo 都講出了自己 print 相的好處和缺點﹕

“自己印” 可以要邊張印邊張﹐話印就印 ( “曬相” 就要親身前往沖曬﹐亦必須等候出相﹐如顏色不靚又要再翻曬)﹔

“自己印” 8 色墨有 7 千幾萬種色彩﹐色彩更佳﹐由自己控制打印效果較穩定 ( “曬相” 每間舖都有不同效果﹐質素或難以保證)﹔

“自己印” 配合原廠相紙可 60-70 年不退色 ( “曬相” 一般約 15-20 年已有退色現象)﹔

“自己印” 印 8R 大相成本較便宜﹔HP 最近推出 ‘$ 0.99 自家曬相’ 勁抵組合﹐印 4R 相每張更只需 $ 0.99 。 即印即有 ( “曬相” 4R 只約 $1 張﹐但沖曬 8R 則較貴﹐約 $10 一張﹐多不能即日起件)。

Step 1: budget

Step 2: get the specification of different brand and different model (the ink cartridge must be designed individually - you needn't to replace all the colour if it just one cartridge empty)

Step 3: see the print out sample. If possible, choose one photo you took and bring it to the showroom of different brand then demand them to print some sample to help you make decision (**Keep your mind clearly! Don't totally trust the sales!**)

Step 4: Of course! Choose a suitable one.

For me, I went to Epson and Canon showroom to get some information and print a sample for testing before I bought my printer.

出去晒相的確係平d, 但又的確係控制唔到最後出來個效果, 就算自己搞完出去晒, 佢都會同你再搞過
