我剛才問過關於Olympus C-770 既資料 !!!

因為可能會打好多字, 我用英文會方便d.

my information is from the showroom of HK olympus. i asked customer service staff dozen of question and i got the following information:

1. C-770 will be officially distributed around early May 2004.

2. the package will include charger and battery (li-10b), the capacity is 1090mAh.

3. the battery (li-12b) adopted in C-60 is fully compatible with li-10b, the capacity is around 12xxmAh

4. the li-10b can handle 80-100 shots with flash and lcd turned on.

5. goods from official dealers of other countries will be covered by HK warranty scheme, but inspection/part charges will be counted for repairing parallel imported products.

6. the price of C-770 will be around 4000-4500.

7. the upper portion of the flash unit covers wide-angle range, while the lower portion covers tele-side range; definitions of wide and tele are determined by the cam's firmware.

9. from dpreview.com, foreigners have been playing the cam for a week, but many people asked silly quesitons, the ones posted temp. review had few contribution. i hope all of us, being players of DCs, can always post constructive reviews and opinions in review section of this site.

according to the staff there, the package includes remote control, charger and battery.

the shops i mentioned are in new golden 33 plaza. last week i went to shamshuipo to check the prices of lcd monitors, out of curiosity, i went to new golden 33 plaza because new goods always occurs there very quickly.

the C-770 there was black one, i merely checked the price but i didnt ask whether two colors of the cam was available or not.

DO REMEMBER, MAKE CONTRIBUTION IN YOUR REVIEW / FORUM POSTS, DONT BEHAVE LIKE SOME OF THE FOOLS IN DPREVIEW.COM - SOME ONLY STATED THEY ADMIRED THE APPEARANCE/PRICE/WEIGHT OF THE CAM ETC.

As the size of the battery is exactly the same as two AA batteries, is it possible to use 2300mAh NiMH batteries?

What're the battery dimensions?
The battery is 3.7V and the capacity is 1090mAh. If you two AA batteries, the voltage output is 2.4V. It cannot meet the votlage. Is it possible to use three AA batteries and make a special battery case for it?

Oh...haha..in fact I dunno much about the battey
I have a friend using C-40, the size of battery is just two AA batteries,...
so thinking whether 770 will have it also..

Oh!! My god!!! The arrival date of c770 made me crazy! The information given by retail seller and Olympus Hong Kong is totally confusing.

I just phoned to the customer service centre of Olympus 23762150. The officer told me that c770 may be arrived Hong Kong at the end of May. He also told me that he did not know whether c770 would be sold in Hong Kong or not. He also didn't know the price the package inside the box.

Few days ago, I asked Broadway sales and he told me that c770 will be available on mid May after checking with the computer. Fortress did not know the availability date. 領先 said c770 will be arrived Hong Kong early May after the sales phoned to 行.

C-770 係一部好強既DC, 中港台三地既人都會買, 如果olympus 唔響香港賣係傻既決定, 而且就算係真既, 都可以買水貨, olympus HK 亦會保用, 只係charge 大家多一d.

我就唔擔心喇, 因為佢應該四月份賣, 只係因為個個牌子都出機快過佢, 所以c-750/740 銷唔晒, 於是c-770先會遲賣. 如果佢講一聲7/8月賣丫, 我唔理佢喇, 因為人地都出新機啦.

即係話想要黑色既話, 就要買水貨啦!

if there is anything wrong with 水貨, can I replace with a new one? What about the warranty and language displayed in DC and manual?

睇到剛才既資料, 我立即有咁既聯想.

行貨無黑色, 唔出奇, 大家都唔知, 要出左行貨, 再問下dealer 先知.

而水貨有兩色, 理所當然. 我覺得, 唔好信晒水貨佬果番話.

我覺得, 先睇睇行貨水貨相差幾多. 如果水貨好平, 咁要睇睇meun language同跟機有咩野同有咩送, 機有事點換法點整法之類既問題.

而家買c750 都無用, 你都係耐心等多兩星期啦.
