I am using the captioned combination most of the time.

The problem I am facing is that it is easy to be out focused or the focus is not too sharp in indoor environment. Sometimes, the lighting is not that bad overall, just a little dimmer than outdoor. I don't know whether it was my skill or the lens that caused the problem. Could someone please give me some suggestion? Thanks!

I also heard that the UV may cause the problem as well. I am using the HOYA UV. I don't if there is any effect on that. I am going to take it off and try it for a while.

try to use a tripod or flash to solve your problem. i know it is a bit tricky to shot indoor, Otherwise, use a len with large apeture value(for example, 50mm f1.4) but the DOF is another problem too.
