By the time you see this reply you probably have left home. But AFAIK, 7hrs should be more than enough for lithium rechargeables' first charge.

Even if you didn't fully charge it the first time, at most the batteries will not be able to perform to its max. during its life. But with batteries not very expensive these days, if you're in a hurry, I would say give it a go.

好似通常叉滿都會自動 cut 電,唔係話你放舊電係 chrager 一個星期,佢就同你叉足一星期

My friend is working in a battery factory. He said that no need to charge the battery for a long time for the newly designed battery. It is better to plug off when the light is cahnged to green.

Remark : I don't know whether it is true or not. But I follow his way to charge the battery.
