C770:
4MP, No IS, no USM, hot shoe, VGA MPEG4 movie, 3cm super marco, Li-10b battery, xD card, USB2.0, 1.8" LCD, smaller overall size and weight.

I bought a 512M xD in 2nd market at HK$794. I can record 30 minutes 11 seconds MPEG4 movie or 522 HQ photos.

Note that s1 can only record up to 11 minutes movie or up to 1GB file size.

其實呢部機冇AF Assist Beam，o係暗或夜晚影相時，對焦會否慢或不準？如冇此功能o既相機，會用什麼原理在暗或夜晚對焦？

I shoot in my home at night with lamps light up and found no problem for focusing. The speed of focusing is as fast as FujiFilm s602 (my previous camera).

When there is insufficient light (e.g switch off most of the light), it is difficult to focus. Then, I used manual focus.

Mongkok DCC is selling at HK$3880 (行貨) and HK$3450 (水貨). No additional xD card included.
Fortress and Broadway is selling at HK$4280 with 128M xD (maybe ask for 256M xD or additional battery). I bought in Fortress at HK$4280 with 128M xD and 24-month installment (HK$178 per month).

i still cannot choose S1 or 770
S1 can zoom during video shooting 770 cannot
770 is smaller S1 is big
S1 have IS 770 just have digital anti-shake programe
i think the picture quality is similar
XD is expensive and CF is cheap

No use in my opinion.

S1 can zoom during video shooting 770 cannot?
c770 can also zoom digitally when using internal mic. If you use external mic you can use 10x digital zoom plus 4x optical zoom.

c770 picture quality is excellent. ISO400 with noise reduction is quite good.

Buy in www.eBay.com very cheap. I bought Li-10b replacement battery 900mAh around HK$120 for 2. There are also other Li-10b replacement ranging from 850mAh to 1250mAh. They are also very cheap.

Thx kkkleung. So if the anti-shake is not useful, how can u use the 10X zoom. U bring the tripod always?
