Can anyone tell me the usage of the 蓮花型遮光罩 ?

In the market there are few different shape of the 遮光罩, any different effect from the shape of the 遮光罩 when taking the photo ?

遮光罩當然就係要黎遮光, 至於點解要係蓮花形唔係菊花形呢, 係因為影tele時冇咁易有黑四角囉

lotus shape hood will be better because the image is not a circle. It can avoid unfavorable light but not cause dark edges.
Dark edgeswill mostly happen at wide not tele.
