EVF is the shorthand of "Electronic View Finder", comparing to the traditional "Optical View Finder". In simple terms, this is a LCD display inside the viewfinder. You can therefore shut off the LCD monitor and use the EVF instead to save power.

The following digital cameras have such a EVF:

1. Olympus C-760, C-765, C-770
2. Canon S1 IS
