Comparing Z3 and Z10 is like comparing orange and apple.
Z3 is the latest DC, AA batteries, 640 X 480 video, able to zoom while taking video, compact in size, Optical Stablized CCD - so the images in the EVF or LCD do not move when you are about to take pictures, which is good, you don't feel sea sick.

I am a FZ1 user (I had brought 3 FZ1, cost range from HK$1,398 to HK$2205, all from Fortress, brand new, no demo, but then 1 has some minor problems (the HK$1,398 one), occasionally overexposed when taking pictures, but resume normal after a while, or the camera hanged itself when I activated the bracket exposures feature, one out of three pictures wouldn't come out, the camera would locked, I need to turn it off and on again. the last problem is terrible, part of the pictures had funny looking colors.

Anyway, Z3 has a good price tag, only short coming is no fixed f2.8 aperture, the LECIA lens in FZ1 is great, I presume FZ10 also has good lens.

All in all, if the Z3 workmanship are good, it is worth buying one. The Z3 and FZ10 are for different users, no reason to look down on each other, have fun using them, spend more time taking pictures of birds, moon (ISO 100, spot metering, hand held 1/30 second) and airplanes. both cameras are fun to use. let's make the world a better place to live.

Z3一D都唔食電......柒唔柒見人見志la(我覺得黑色幾靚)......

講相質,F-Z10會好DD,F-Z10更有恒定大光圈........但係F-Z10個size大(帶出街好唔方便),又貴成$1000,D配件又貴,noise亦較多,而且AS既效果係好過OIS少少...........所以如果你接受到個size,noise同個price.....買F-Z10 la.....if not,go for Z3

我们也要象PCHOME DC CLUB的会员们那样欢欣鼓舞的喊一声——“美能达真厚道！”全新上市、性能直逼松下旗舰FZ10的DIMAGE Z3定价竟然只有3650元，要知道，FZ10现在还要卖到4100元人民币呢！两者之间4百多元的差价显然完全可以让我们对光圈大小问题忽略不计，就算是强劲的FZ20现在突现市场，恐怕也难以做到Z3这样的性价比，更何况KM一向还是价格“跳水”的高手。
