I did research and found Nikon Coolpix 3700 is very good choice. Even it has only 3.2 MP, usually 3-5R size pic is no problem/no difference from higher MP. The quality of the pic (both day / night), price ($21xx with 256MB SD card), and review here is very good law. The size and weight is small too. So you can consider it.

o also, it can have 640 movie instead of DC only have 320 and it can zoom when taking movie. Many benefit la this dc...

ixus photo quality should be no 1 but will not much better than 5200, but 5200's size & outlook is much better than ixus and 30 fps movie & quick response in 5200 is good, so 5200 gd ar.

casio & pentax..................................if u choose these, pls ignore the consideration of photo quality, just enjoy their outlook design & small size.

I thought of 5200 or 4300 (model # correct?) But too bad the design looks a bit bit more bulky than 3700 (which is slim retangular). If 5200's design is the same, I'll consider ga.

FOr small DC, I will only choose either Canon IXUS500 or Sony W1 ! For photo quality, I think they are almost the same ! But the flash for IXUS500 should be better ! W1 can use AA battery so it wins at this part ! For movies, for sure W1 is better la !
I prefer W1 more !
