Canon 20D 我和三個朋友的新機都發現相同問題
問題:
1)經常無故地Hang機,完全無法操作,一天外影,重複發生三四次 (要拆電拆卡多次才能Reset)
2)無法自動關機,並且機身有發熱現象!
令人非常失望!

我都係用緊20D+17-85mm IS
而你講既問題,我就2樣都冇,我外影左3次都未有Hang機
不過我個20D就有失焦問題出現,所以琴日我以經拎左去整啦, 要7日先可以攞番...(全焦距後移6mm)

我個朋友部 20 D 都不時也 HANG 機 HANG 到 七 彩, 可能因為 20D 內的合成電路經不起快速的 DIGIC II 所致 (因為那些合成電路有很多 parts 是用 300D 的電路所致)

我真的要三思 買不買 20 D 啦, 或改買300D 啦...... 真的不明白為什麼 機越新出就越多毛病.......

Last Sunday shootout two 20D out of three hanged at least once.
Remove and re-insert battery would work again.

至於hang機問題，出現在我身上2次，均在換鏡頭後出現，大家多加留意吧。

i've been using 20d with EF-S 17-85mm for 2 weeks - very stable, never hang once!
will 20d have some problems with old lens for those experienced hanging problems. hopefully the new firmware will solve the problem!

也是用 17-85mm .

但 HANG 機 for 20D 是免不了的,
因為 (parts of 300D 電路) + (mark II 的 DIGIC II ) = 太大 GAP 啦, 可能機本身不太 support 所以 HANG 機 啦.....

Sorry to hear that 20D's HANG problem~
Following is the reply from Canon (Copy from ng)

"Thank you for contacting Canon Technical Support. We are sorry to hear
that your EOS 20D is locking up.

Canon is aware of this issue, and it is currently being investigated. It
seems to occur very rarely, under extremely limited conditions. If it
does occur, you can remove and reinsert the battery to restore your
camera to its normal condition. Please note that this issue does not
affect images taken with the camera. We plan to release a firmware
update for download from the web when the appropriate countermeasures
are determined. We will let you know the schedule for this release when
it becomes available.

I hope that this helps. If you need further assistance, please respond
at your earliest convenience."

咁就連 20D 第二批都會有HANG 機problems la!!

因為連 Canon tech assist 都話要等 firmware 出, 怕且都要等到出年啦......

時時 HANG 機又點會話不影響images taking ar..........唉

影相樂趣都彼那些 HANG 機 problems 唉死啦!

想過度過都是不買 20D la...... >_<

no hang occur, in my friend wedding day
i have shoot over 300 photo, no heat, no hang occur.
may be my lucky
i love this 20D very much, very different from 300D i'm using before

I face some underexposure problems with my 20D, especially when using the Auto mode. Anyone with similar problems? Any workaround?
