Dear all dcfever fans,

i don't know anything about CPL, could anyone tell me :
1) how many kinds of CPL?
2) which brand is best?
3) how much? where can i buy in cheapest?
4) any sample link can show here?

since i am a beginner here, i will buy 20D for taking 風景 shots. sometimes i see pics in 'amazing color'. i think it's took with CPL. i hope to know more in this topic. Thanks for all help!!!

PL filters got a) Linear b) circular. the later got no direction, much better, of course more expensive. both of them could be used as a ND filter (but just decreased by 1/2 stop). 'Amazing color' seems to be a bridge too far, you may wish to borrow some foto books from the libraries to enrich your knowledges first, well, it's esay to learn, but the way is long.....long enough!

我答第3條,我以前用過TOKINA 的ATX MC PL,好正而且平,但而家好像停產,我而家用MINOLTA CPL II,都正,但好貴,62MM要$5XX,但千萬唔好比D SALE老點,最好"距SALE東,你可以買西"...

你太誇張,小弟還在學習中!
偏光鏡通過控制非金屬表面的反射光,可以提高主體的反差。對減少或清除玻璃和水面的反射光很有用,某些情況下也會使籃天變得深色,對自動對焦的準確性或鏡後測光亳無影響。相機跟物體和光源成90度角時所得的效果最好。
尺寸52mm.58mm,67mm.72mm,77mm
一般相機店有售HOY 最平52mm-67mm$280-300/ 72mm-77mm 貴D
B+W 最貴77mm $680
我用Canon .canon 10D 白平行都好準,所以我會用自動白平行。

我又來搭訕先...
CPL 即係 circular polarizer 啦!
用 SLR 就一定要用 CPL, 因為半透光鏡會將光線變成偏振光, 再用一片普通 PL 就唔掂, 轉到某 D 位會因為 PL 同半透光鏡的偏振角度成直角, 唔夠光去到 AF sensor..
用 CPL 就冇事, 因為 CPL 可以阻隔偏振光, 不過光線經過 CPL 之後就會冇左偏振特性, 所以冇咁影響 AF...
不過用普通 DC 就冇事喎, 因為冇塊半透光鏡. 我自己都係用緊塊 cheap cheap Sunpak PL, 都 OK 架!
