This post is waiting to be "flamed" so bad I can smell it ...... :P
put it this way, if I have a choice I would pick Epson R-D1 (well if money is not an issue, of course .... )
please this kind of post does not make any constructive sense at all. Buying a DC/D-SLR/whatever kind of digital camera, you are buying it for a reason: performance, portability or you just like the look of it.
For example, you want a mini-van you wouldn't choose BMW or Audi. Both brands make nice cars but sorry they just don't make mini-van.
The same applies to DC/camera. Look for what's available on the market then choose the ones with the features that you like (or the ones you can afford) then finally choose which brand.
well at least this is how I choose my DC ...
