but in other places like Man Shing is about $400 or less

Can I use GP VCL002 insteal of Canon one? are they the same? as the price I saw at dcfever. They selling hkd190.

I would use Canon original accessory items because when somethings wrong happen to the DC when using non-Canon original items, they may say

"Sorry that's your fault from not using Canon battery!! your warrenty is void !! "
