Canon IXUS 40 is a good choice to u.
u can buy in dcfever shop. the price is quite reasonable.

I bought it last sunday and cost only $2980 with 2 128mb sd card.
u can walk around those shops and have a look 1st,
then u will find that Canon Ixus 40 is not over $3000 in most shops.
