Frankly speaking,
18-70 kit is not good, but sigma lens is very poor.
So I think you should buy kit lens rather.

You can buy a 70-200VR (if you have money) or Sigma 80-400 OS for tele.

is the sigma 28-300mm f3.5-6.3 Macro len good for tele ?
because i saw this len looks nice, is small and compact.
