While 20D arrives the market, why not choose 10D?
But for the price of 20D, you almost spend all your money and how can you buy lens and accessories?

I will consider either D70 or Pentax *istDs. For the specification, the D70 wins but in consdiering the compactness of the body and the lens, I will get the Pentax.

For buying a set of Pentax(body and a 18-55mm lens(aound 27-80mm in 35mm format), you still have around $6000 left! You still have to spend money on SD cards, and you can buy one more good lens by this budget......

it's really difficult to choose. choosing among this DCs is "a pain in the ass".

But, if u r rich and $ is not a problem, then, choose 1Ds Mark II la...... haha

Sometimes it is not the issue of money. I don't think the image quality from a 1Ds Mark II can bit my Zeiss lens or medium format camera. However, the weight of the 1Ds MII with the great L lens will surely break my shoulders.

It is impossible to get a perfect camera. For my purpose, to enjoy daily walk around and travel shooting, I prefer a small and light one.

DSLR drop price too fast, not worthy to buy things too expandsive.

Nikon D70 take good picture but Nikon doesnt look nice and is not user friend friendly.

Canon 300D take good picture and Canon always look nice, and got a very friendly interface.

Canon is Canon, just like Apple is Apple, B&O is B&O. Their product look and touch nice.

Well, just a very personal matter.
