請問各位Canon 20D & 580EX 用家係P模式之下, 鏡頭焦距17mm嘅時候, 使用此閃燈拍攝的照片, 有否四角發黑的現象(即時閃光範圍不足以覆蓋畫面) ? When I using my 17-40 f/4L at 17mm, I have this problem , can any users here share the experience ?

最基本既動作,你支580EX有冇拉到廣散片先.

Yes, it will be settled by using the 14mm 廣散片.

However , the actual 焦距 for a 17mm lens used with 20D is 17mm x 1.6 =27.2mm , the焦距 shows on the screen of 580EX is 24mm , 閃光範圍 should be ok to cover a 27.2mm lens.

你支17-40 f/4L 係full size鏡,唔同EF-S造細左成像圈,係咪咁計架.....我唔敢肯定答你,不過你都話拉左14mm廣散片可以settle到就嗟係唔係咁計啦.

Do you have the same set up ? I just want to know this issue is normal or just happened to my 580EX ( that means it's defected item !) , previously , I have a 550EX , 四角發黑的現象 is not happened when I use 17mm , so I was wonder that if my 580EX is out of order.

可能前用開film機慣左17mm就拉廣散片,冇乜點理要乖1.6呢個問題,我用開10D + 16~35 f2.8 L +550EX拉埋廣散片就一定冇四角發黑的現象,最近聽人講得多580EX勁配數碼機,所以最近又入左支580EX,仲未認真試清楚,我都可以試下再話你知結果.

但係580ex有一個功能, 就係自動檢測你用的數碼相機, 如果有x1.3或x1.6 就會自動調節番支登, 並在右上角出個長方形icon表示已調節, 所以你用17mm一定要拉廣散片。
