KM A200 , CANON PRO 1 WHICH ONE IS BETTER?

ON FOCUSING SPEED ?

IMAGE QUALITY ?

又呢d問題?你知唔知自己要乜先,對image quality又有咩要求,就咁叫人比較兩部機,通常都係吵鬧收場,無答案俾到你,認清自己要求同方向再問人啦!

After comparing their spec. and test photos, this is their different:
What KMA200 has in adventage and Canon pro 1 doesn't:
AS
Mechanical zoom & 4x digital zoom
800*600dpi 15fps & 640*320dpi 30/15dpi 15 min moive
Can zoom in moive
Lighter in weight
can chosse 3:2 photo size

What Canon pro 1 has in adventage & KMA200 doesn't:
F2.4 compare to KM's F 2.8
2.0" LCD compare to 1.8" in KM
just a bit better in noise control

I don't know about their operating speed because I havn't got niether DC, but I prefer & really want KMA200 However, I havn't got enough money and I have to do my A level! Poor me...

by the way, cause i just bought a panasonic fx2 for snapshot of my baby,
but the focus speed is not fast enough to catch my baby's motion even it has AS.

SO i want to buy one that have a fast focus speed to shot my baby.

m... Have u try using sport mode? Focus should be quicker.

慢？這是DC的通病，時滯的問題。想快？用DSLR啦！

I think the picture quality and the quality control of Minolta A200 (especially the CCD/ LCD) is lower than the Canon Pro 1. I said this because I had found a series of dead / light pixels in LCD of my previous DC (A1) and I think the photo quality of A1 was really too raw for me, the details was not captured properly. So I decided to buy Pro 1, I think Pro 1 is comparatively better in terms of body construction, aperture value and lens structure.

I would recommend Pro 1 rather than A200.

其實要focus快而準, 真的要dslr架!!

如您試過300D或D70等這類入門級dslr, 您就知focus speed相差幾遠, 尤其在室內及較暗的環境下, 分別更大.

by thw way, dslr is not so handy as i need to bring a lot of stuff with baby.
i don't want to carry a bag with additional len to switch.
