Depends on your usage woh.
70~200 won't excit you in terms of focal length, even the optically quality is second to none. It's good for journalist (some), sports, and portrait photog.
The 28~300 will be a funny stuff. Beware of dust, due to the push-pull design. The lens is supposed to be better than the 35~350 in handling and performance, which I will not suggest for any photog other than widelife specialist.

I would also suggest 70-200 as it is a faster lens for telephoto.

28~300 變焦比大過70~200質素相比就更係差d....佢重過70~200.....佢貴過70~200.....佢光圈細過70~200.....直推式變焦方唔方便得過雙環就既人見智,用途上想一鏡走天涯負擔就好似重左小小.....

Remember zoom is not the world.......once you try 35L or 135L or 300L, you will not touch a zoom lens again.....

I agree with embu31. The 70-200mm f2.8 IS is very good, but alternatives are still there. I recommend 135mm f2L and 300mm f4L if you need such a long focal length. The 200mm f2.8L is another quality choice. I don't have them, but am planning to get the 135mm/f2.

那就要視乎自己對攝影既執著程度去到邊喇！當你用過定焦映到D相既質數zoom鏡係無可能俾到果陣，你自然會明白行前行後取景其實係一種樂趣．
