I want to buy an economical wide-angle DC for taking pictures on site. My budget is around $2xxx. Do you have any recommendations?

In fact, I also got a 33mm kodak DC but it is not enough wide. I have checked with some shops that i can put on an adaptor ($100) and then a x0.5 wide angle lens ($480). I tried in shops but found that there are black corners in pictures.

If I keep using my 33mm kodak, are there any suggestions other than buying another wide-angle DC.

please think twice before you buy ricoh based DC
since there is any manual functions...........
I guess ricoh R1 is over priced product...
however its design is really good.....
Nikon 8400 will be a good choice
