I have tried both
S2 seems to be more durable and have better photo quality, d70 is a much quicker camera in response and continuous shooting. the super ccd on fuji is good.

S2 made in Japan?? same class as D100 and canon 10D. D70 is a rich kid's toy not design for rough usage.

Really depends how you use your camera and which camera is in better physical condition.(eg. total photo taken and age/ warrantee)

but isn't fuji's super CCD has noise problem? and is it real 6.0mega pixel or a fake one....?

how much slower for photo shooting? how about viewing the photos? so much slower or just a bit slower than d70?

i'm also thinking to get S3, but still not sure the 12 mega pixel thing....one of my wing shing friend said it's not good at all..........so i dunno
