給所有站內同好及手上有D7D和猶豫該不該買D7D的同好：

之前有關D7D的各種問題如排山倒海而來，但卻一直有如霧
裡看花，越看越花，大家一直無法得到任何有關官方如何處理
事情的圓滿答案，小弟本著為大家服務的精神 (其實是我也很想
買，但問題實在是太多了…)，厚著臉皮打電話打永準，想徹底
了解到底永準做了啥事??有沒有聽到我們這些小市民的心聲，
以下為訪談的內容：

永準電話02-23933151 剛開始給我轉到門市去(差點吐血 )，後來
才轉到一個正式的部門去 黃小姐(以下為A)

一、觀景窗右傾??
A：永準共進了三至四批的7D，發現第一批的問題較嚴重，但實際
上是每批都有這問題，日方那有持續追蹤及處理這問題，而且
一定會處理，只是須送回日本去(可能是第二個問題產生的，
請看第二個問題)。

二、CCD切割不正??
A：沒有聽過送回的有這問題(那是當然，因為我們不能把7D拆起來
看)，但是送回日本的一些機器中，日方承認確實是CCD切割不正
黃小姐有問我說為何知道CCD不正??如何測??我說因為543的一位
大師曾試著去清CCD，看過並實際測量後發現的(他也知道這位
大師，因為當初有請他做測試，但只有一面之緣，測完後有給他很
多寶貴的意見，只是不知有沒有聽進去)至於日方如何處理??一定處
理，但會不會要求上游，抱歉，我沒問，而且我也管不到，只能
建議囉。

三、高ISO有橫向雜訊條紋??
A：沒有回來的機子有這問題的，但聽說水貨的有碰到。我想他應該是指
文包兄那一台吧，所以如果同好中是公司貨，而且剛好有這問題的，
請用力的說出來吧。

四、對焦偏移??
A：目前只有送回一例，但那台剛好是併CCD不正(這…)所以撇開CCD不
正來談，其實是沒問題(後來那位仁兄有將機子拿回，也發現並沒有偏移
的情況，不知是那位仁兄，可否現身說明一下??)而且就他們工程部反覆
測試多台7D(只拿28-70那顆測)並沒有這狀況，所以如果有偏移的情況
的同好，請用力的去反應吧，我有跟黃小姐反應，CANON如何處理
對焦偏移的方法，他說7D應該沒有問題，不會有這狀況，如果有，
請讓他知道。

五、CCD有亮/暗點??
A：這屬重大問題，永準一定換。至於如何換??馬上換??請看最後…

六、LCD有亮點是否可換??
A：在工程部那有一套標準，好像是中央區域超過二至三點??(請問各經銷
商)其它超過幾點(抱歉，他也忘了那數據)，可換。至於如何換，一樣
看最後。

七、保固期內清理CCD??
A：說明書內有提到侞何清理，而且很簡單，但我說就我們只是玩家的立場
再怎麼簡單的操作，我也希望交給專業人員來做，黃小姐說，如果今天
只是很簡單的如說明書的清CCD(他們稱小清)，那是不用收任何費用的
但如果要拆解機身(他們稱為大清)則必須送回原廠，那就必須收取一點
費用了(我想應該是沒有這能力吧)，因為日本也不希望他們做這個動作??
所以囉，各位看倌自己衡量….

I happen to be one KMD7D user who am very happy with it. Thank you very much.

I have owned a number of digital cams before, and have been so consistently careless that I never bothered to check for dead spot, misaligned CCDs, back or front focus... Not once with all these equipment I owned. I figure if there is a real problem, I would have seen it with my eyes. Otherwise, I could live with it. (mind you, there have been cameras of different brands I had to excahnge because of "obvious" QC problems. That is another story since these are problems I can see with my eyes, not through someone who told me I ahve problems with my equipment). Yet I have been very happy with these camears, be they a Canon, Minolta, Panasonic.

I try not to be a slave to equipment, and trust my own judgment. Am I crazy? or am I insane? You be the judge.

I have used D7D for over 5 months and have taken over 2000 photos. I feel it's a good camera because I have never found any problem with it.

I am a Canon300D user and want to upgrade to KM D7D because of its:
1) body design
2) anti-shike

That is why I search over the Internet. I found that the overall comment is that :
It is not worth HK$10,800 even it includes a 1MB CF card!

All I want to do is to create a link and pinpoint the defects to other potential users.

But my current conclusion is that I would like to buy 20D or N70s.

My D7D has BF problem in low light environment for objects over ~2m. The problem can be reduced by using smaller aperture (such as f4 or below). It can also be avoid by using the focusing point in top left corner in this situation (but seems to have some problem with flash because once HS5600 seems always uses the center focusing point).

I doubt those people whose said that their D7D did not have BF problem at all, because they may not test the camera in above situation, especially for those people who mainly use small aperture zoom lens - at small aperture, DOF can compensate the focus error in some cases.

Except for the BF problem, image quality of this camera is pretty good (dynamic range is somewhat narrow imo, perhaps it is because I mainly used Lecia lens on Canon DSLR before and images produced with Leica lens have very wide dynamic range). It is a relatively slow camera as well (not as slow as S3 PRO, but far behind D70 and 20D). AS works over 70-80% with shutter speed at 1/30 or higher. I can also get clear pictures occasionally down to 1/4, but it usually requires taking several shots.

Another problem with Minolta is on lens availability, it is very difficult to find those high quality lens. In addition, most Minolta lens do not have built-in motor so focusing speed is relatively slow (the slowest AFlens I've ever use is Minolta 28-70/2.8G, it is even slower than Nikon 35-70/2.8).
