不知為何？每每在早上見到很多會員在互相投票，不單如此；回應的說話也是 [ copy ] & [ paste ] 出來。給我的感覺是對別人作品毫不專重，為了令自己作品高票而作出一連貫的 [ 互投動作 ] ，可能這個話題會令大家大快，但是當我和別人提到在這裡貼相，他人就對我說 : " 記得一朝早去投票跟住貼相，包你坐定粒綠。"
起初我對此話感到有點費解，後來當我每天也在細心留意時，才明白那位影友所說為何事。同時間我亦明白到這一點 ；那就是會員間的 [ 物以類聚 ] 。
而且上今天之選的會員口氣亦頗大，讚美欣然接受；但是對其他的意見就以單單打打及譏諷別人為借口抽身，可能；那些人以為自己已經登峰造極一時無兩吧！各位 [ 今天大師 ] 。

雖然中國人貴為禮儀之幫，禮尚往來是很平常的事。躺若貼相風氣也是一樣；盲目地去對相片作 [ 策略性的投資 ] 而希望得到 [ 理想回報 ] 的話；這一刻就是對你自己審美眼光作出背棄，可能你身在其中會感到不亦樂乎，但在其他人眼中簡直就不知所謂。若為 [ 回票 ] 而用 [ 禮貌 ] 此作籍口，不斷晨早在美麗的謊言，我覺得亦不需在此對這些人有 [ 禮貌 ] ，某時候，真令影相的一群感到蒙羞及回應感到嘔心。請怒在下直言！

This kind of topic happens periodically.

What I understand is :
1. This is not a contest site. It is just a photo sharing site.
Photo of the day award not necessary goes to the photo with highest votes .

2. Voting only mean encouragement to other members.
Photo of the day is also an encouragement to selected members

3. This site is extremely slow at night.

4. Surfing this site in the morning may save an hour to go thru hundred photos posted everyday.

5. Criticizing would discourage members to post their photos.

6. Learning how to take good photos can be learnt from books, classes and many photo related web sites. Learning from comments of members here is not systematic and may not of high quality.

I suggest to post your good photos and give votes to encourage other members. It can save time to do it in the morning too. :-) This would benefit our photographic society rather than just 觀看貼相區.

Dominic, you have your points. However, I don't totally agree with you especially point 6 - hope you don't mind.

I guess all web-friends can at least can do the following: comment a bit more about photos instead of just typiing something like "Good", "Congratulation".

As for my case, two years ago, I couldn't show my pics to my friends, hence, I don't really know what shall I improve. Then I have got some friends at work to comment on my photos and I think I have improved a bit over two years (You can take a look at my profile).

Yes, sometime it is hard to accept real comment but it will help definitely.

比面派對，人有人玩，你唔一定要玩家馬，小弟都唔玩，反而會對一些幾好o既又票少的相鼓勵一聲，唔使條氣唔順，好相一定有人欣賞。

過o左 10 點貼相張數又真係少得可憐，其實好易理解，上班時間嗎，更係番工前做晒佢啦，駁炒咩！

I can also see that you have improved a lot in photoshop skill too.

It would be ideal to have 1 to 1 mentorship.
How about many mentors from this site to train one up ?
That would be marvelous indeed.

If there are high quality comments / suggestion that would be most valuable. I totally agree on that.

其實這情況, 不只出現在 dcfever, 早前, 我在 dchome 都評過一輯相, 但係貼圖者既反應都幾反彈.

呢度係有一個好完美既只要讚不要彈既例子
如果真係想收到好既 comment, 最好係貼去外國網站, 我都唔想在這裏貼圖了, 無心機.

Please post your best photo then give 40 votes in another day.

See how many votes your 2 photos would get.
Sometimes I place 60 votes and get less than 20 votes.
When you participate and you'll understand more.

Since THIS IS NOT A CONTEST SITE, I give votes to beginners even the photos are not 'good' from professional photographers' eyes, but it is already a 'very good' photos shot by a beginner.

Is this what you mean "作品不論好劣" and both get my votes ?

I also gives votes to good photos basing on my mediocre standard.

It is therefore I am not happy if somebody says my votes are 蒙騙,美麗的謊言.

From my observation, a lot of beginners have been improving in this 受吹捧 environment in the past years because they are encouraged to take more photos and they are motivated to improve. With the motivation THEY ARE CAPABLE to find out how to improve without suggestions and comments from members here.

zeusho already pointed out a good photo site, viewing their high standard photos would definitely help us improve.

劫富濟貧：聽來和為 [ 鼓勵 ] 而 [ 投票 ] 同樣多偉大的精神，但同一時間；請問你有無考慮過首先 [ 劫 ] 已經有問題存在，亦即是和 [ 濫投 ] 一樣。好的風氣未至；壞的影響已經不斷潛移默化地入侵著大家對作品的睇法，美其言是 [ 鼓勵 ] 吧！

雖說上今天之選不是因票數多寡作定斷，但事實自己每張相 [ 坐定粒綠 ] 有廿多三十票。最起碼上今天之選的機會高了、作品有 highlight 標青了出來都不知多好看。而我每日做的 [ 指定動作 ] 很簡單，就是不斷去投票。
試問還會有心情跟你的方法去多看書或去研究對作品要求嗎？別說笑了。你和我和大家每天都一樣只有 24 小時，上班上學吃飯訓覺上網已所花時間很多。但現在我對你說：" 放膽去不斷投票吧，現在 [ 喳正牌 ] 叫為 [ 鼓勵 ]去做，最緊要之後你貼的作品一定有 [ 回報 ] " 。希望你會明白，影相還有很多入世未深的年青人。不要再為 [ 忠言逆耳 ] 再去 [ 掩飾 ] 了。請試問問良心，遠觀這會是健康嗎？

我倒不知你為何能如此不理性。希望你也不是 [ morning call 互投 ] 的一份子，只不過；你會認同 [ 謊言 ] 是有用；唯獨在下絕不敢苟同。這只會 [ 荼毒 ] 各位對 [ 美 ] 的要求罷了。
