Re: 加保護鏡是否會影響影像質素?

每個人的眼睛辨別圖像質素及色彩都有差異，視乎損受程度。可以自己嘗試裝上保護鏡及除下保護鏡來各拍幾張，由自己判別圖像色彩及質素能否接受。保護鏡的作用是當鏡頭受硬物碰撞時，減輕透鏡直接受撞擊。若圖像質素因加了保護鏡而受到影響，加與不加，得看自己取捨了。

2 schools of thoughts on this issue.

In certain conditions, you may consider a lens hood. It protects the front element from hit and scratch, improves optical performance, but may not be very convenient.

Personally, I use filter in most of my lenses, the 400 5.6 has a built-in hood that I do not attach any filter on it.

Lens hood may not be work in all situation, when using built-in flash, the len hood may hinder the part of flash light., or when taking close up photo (eg 5 cm), the len hood itself will hinder the lens to the subject.

I personally will use the UV filter, as even when i put the lens cap back the lens, sometime the lens cap not go the right way and accidently scatch the lens... If not using filter, i must be very very carefully to put back the len cap each time.
