我第一次買ＤＣ，聽人講話要驗清楚部機ｗｏｒ∼
究竟要驗Ｄ咩呢？？
同埋點驗呢？？
請各位賜教∼∼

1) check dead point, screen, noise :
- close the Lens cap and take the complete dark photo by shuter 1/30, 1 and 10 sec. (or slower). If DC with noise reduction, turn it off and see result.

a) photo at 1/30 sec with complete dark is nornal -> no dead point
b) photo at 1 sec with 1 or 2 spot -> normal for DC as they are noise, if more ask to change a new one
c) photo over 10 sec with 3 or 4 color spot -> normal for DC as longer time expo, more noise.
d) all photo with spot at same area -> dead point at LCD or CCD, ask to change a new one

2) auto focus
- point to both sufficient & low light area to check the speed and accurate of auto focus, some DC indicate that it does auto in low light but actually is out focus.

3) Flash
- Continue shoot few photos with flash, sometime the electric circuit / software is shocked and stop operated.

4) Lens
- look inside the lens under strong light to check any mould or scratches, if lens for DSLR, open the largest F to check.

5) Date and photo#
Date setting of new DC should be "nil" and if they open the new memory card for new DC, the photo# should start froom 001

6) Body
Check any scratch marks, check serial # is same against warranty card

If you have doubt on above points, ask sales to give you another one to check, don't just believe the sales tell you. I bought 4 DC and 2 needed to take back to shop for exchange after one day of purchase. So you should check and test all function in first 7 days before you can exchange for new one. Good Luck.

Not sure what DC you are buying. To check the dead spot, you need to take a complete dark photo with different shutter speed.

If the DC with removable lens caps, then put back the lens caps to cover the lens, if the lens cap is built-in type, bring a black cloth to cover the DC and take a complete dark photo. Then If the DC has manual function, you can easily set the shutter speed at 1/30, 1 and 10 sec. and take 3 photos.

If the DC does not have manual function, then you shoot one photo with day light mode, and one photo with night scene mode.

After that you have at least two complete dark photo in DC, then review the dark photo by magnifing 4x in DC LCD, move and examine all area of the photo to check whether it has bright spot.

The photo taken in 1/30 sec or day light mode should NOT have any bright or color spot, otherwise the CCD or LCD has dead spot.

The photo taken in I sec, or night scene may have 1 or 2 noise spot, this is normal because longer time of exposure, more noise spot will come out. The number of noise spot is variable and depend on different kind of DC (ability to control noise).

仲有係check光點!搵塊黑板(唔開閃燈)!若個mon上看到有光點!亦不能要!

順便睇清楚個鏡頭有冇花!
買到番去!記得要影一張全黑及一張全白!(唔用閃燈)
係電腦睇番有冇光點及死點!
因為睇個mon係好難睇得清楚!
有時會係lcd問題、有時可能係ccd問題!
最後check埋機身有冇花or盒內d野齊唔齊!
