This is for those who already have a Fuji WL-FX9 wide converter.

I hand held it (with the adapter tube) infront of the F10 and took 2 pic.

What do you think? Acceptable? I know the slightest deviation will cause the optics to be off-centre causing distortion.

Thanks Lorena, Casio is also a good DC provided you tune down the saturation and sharpness to -1, it's when you are taking pictures at places like Lan Kwai Fong at night that the Fuji F10 shines.

Thanks very much perry. I think both of the pictures are very nice. The color is very attractive.

Because the lens of F10 gives one of the least barrel distortion in wide angel (0.6%?), even with the wide convertor the image would be still in good hape.

But I doubt about the conner softness (which is hard to tell from this sky view) and the unbalanced fall of without a fixed adapter.

You can see the crop show some softness, could be due to camera movement, you are right about not having a fixed bracket attached to the tripod mount, but this Fuji converter is heavy, almost the same weight as the camera itself.
