kit lens: wide f/5.6 - f/11, tele f/5.6 - f/8 - acceptable sharpness at centre, corner softness below f/11, purple fringing found, tele performance is generally poor

50/1.8: f/4-f/8 - excellent, f/2.5 - f/3.5 acceptable, out-focus @ f/1.8
