我用 Ulead 錄錄燒 3.5se (原本 Sanyo C5 bundled), 呢個 software 非常正, 可以將 video chips 剪接, 加日期文字, 做 motion menu, 將 Mpeg4 燒成 SVCD 或 DVD 在 DVD player 播, 用TV 睇, 又可將相片同時燒成相冊, 自動播放.

SONY 跟機又係冇Mpeg-4編輯軟件, 拍埋D片得個睇冇得郁,
四圍去搵, 唔係不支援就..轉到一半停..轉出黎冇聲..唔夾口形,
淨係得Mpeg-4 Direct Maker 4.6 叫做轉到, 但又冇得玩加工,
直至遇上"會聲會形8/ Mpeg-4外掛", 全能 Video 串燒、編輯,
VCD, DVD 點轉/ 點燒/ 點玩都得, 效果、品質確係一流, 超讚!!

我用o個個係 Ulead 錄錄燒 3.5se (Ulead MovieFactory), 唔係 "會聲會形8/ Mpeg-4外掛", 而家Ulead MovieFactory 4 出o左, retail price 只係 $398, 裡面應該重有個 Ulead PhotoExplorer8.5 比你執相同睇相.

Sanyo C系一向都送呢個 software 啦, 但賣到$4100, bundle 個好用 software 都係應該.

但好似 Sony M1咁, 又貴size又大件, 影出來又唔係真係靚, 又冇 software 送, 真係唔知點講好.....

再用多V550一日, 講番你個問題, 可能你會失望.

之前我用開 Sanyo C5, 佢o的 video 係 .mp4 file, 唔係 .mov, 而我亦有部 Kodak C6330, o的 video 就係 .mov, 兩部機用 Ulead MovieFactory 3.5se 一向相安無事, 做 SVCD/DVD 一o的問題都冇...

而家用 V550 拍低o的 .mov, 本來用 Ulead MovieFactory 3.5se 都播到, 點知今日真正燒錄 SVCD, 出事o勒.....一路轉檔一路燒都冇 error 出, 但燒出來播時, 竟然個 video 好似 still 咁, 唔識郁又冇聲, 似乎呢o的 MPEG4 o既 .mov file 真係幾難對付, 而家希望搵到 Ulead Video Studio9 +MPEG4 plug-in 再試下啦.

d2c, have you tried Quicktime Pro and AfterEffect?

I've heard from official scource that both these two softwares can convert mpeg4 encoded .mov files to .avi without degrading their quality.

Yes, there are some newest DVD players which can play MPEG4, BUT I think these files should be in .mp4 extension, neither .mov extension nor .avi extension!

Tell you an encouraging thing - last night, I have successfully burnt my V550's .mov video files into a CD-R (in SVCD format) and it is REALLY SUCCESSFULLY AND FLUENTLY played on my DVD player and a VERY FINE RESOLUTION displayed on my TV - just like general DVD quality! Comparable to DV! hahaha....

I used Quicktime Pro to convert the .mov files to .mp4 files and Ulead DVD Movie Factory 3.5se to burn the SVCD.

Actually I can burn either SVCD or DVD. I try SVCD on CD-R just because I don't want to waste a DVD-R.
I don't know whether there is any degradation in SVCD. Anyway, as seen from TV, there is no difference between the original file displayed on PC's monitor and the SVCD displayed on TV. I haven't tried DVD-R, maybe the dsiplay in DVD-R would be even better.

For your inormation, the quicktime pro can convert the .mov file into both .mp4 and .avi.
For conversion to .mp4, the process is very fast (just only within 5 seconds) and the converted file has not any degradation. For conversion to .avi, you have to set a higher data rate, say 600 kbytes/s. The converted file size of the avi file is higher than the mov file. And even doing in this way, the quality of the converted avi file is worse than the original mov file. The conversion from mov to avi required more time - about 3 mintues for a original 2 minutes video file.

Quicktime pro is for file conversion only. You need to employ other softwares like Ulead Movie Factory, Nero Burning Rom, etc for burning the converted video files into VCD or DVD.

Mine is very fast. Firstly to convert mov to mp4 -- using QT Pro6.5.2 in several seconds, then to compile and burn VCD/SVCD/DVD using the Ulead Movie Factory 3.5se directly.
