I have about ten photos in RAW format in my memory card which I can preview them at the camera. But once I plug the card in a card reader, I just cannot read them in the computer any more. Any one can help?

RAW是不能這樣開啟觀看的，你可以用跟機的軟件或Photoshpp CS2把RAW轉做JPEG就可以了，但轉之前可作很多後期處理，例如：白平衡，銳利度等等。

Considering embu31's extensive digital photography experience, I guess what he means is that he simply couldn't find the files on the memory card.

I know the files are very likely to be corrupted on the card. The funny thing is I can preview them all on the camera. but as soon as I plug the card into the card reader and open it up with FVU, C-1 pro or RawShooter, it is as if there is no files at all. I try to view the content of the card with Window file manager and I can see all the RAW files, but I just cannot open them up.

I just wonder if other 1Ds user have similar situation before and whether I can still download them directly from the camera via the cable.

The other problem is I have lost the firewire cable. Any bros know how much a replacement would cost?

embu兄, 會唔會係你係d執相 software當中, 搵files時無揀到"顯示所有檔案" - 即all files呀? 因為唔同機o既raw可能制式有d唔同, 個software未必認到。

我無1Ds，但我估計真的有可能張卡的資料corrupt了。因為RAW格式中會內嵌JPEG或thumbnail供相機快速顯示之用，如果檔案中這部分沒有損毁，在相機中就可以看到照片，但由於檔案真的已損毁，在電腦中就開不到了。在電腦開不到RAW檔案，有以下眾多可能，可以一步步偵測：
1. memory card損毁
2. 檔案系統（file system i.e. FAT, FAT32, etc.)損毁
3. 檔案本身損毁
4. 相機寫入檔案有問題
5. 電腦有問題

除了4，其他都可以在PC偵測到。最好有個card reader，將檔案抄上電腦，如果是1,2 或3，在抄的過程中已經可以知道問題。如果是5，只要你開一開以前影落的RAW相，就知是否電腦出問題。

firewire插頭有大小之分(手提電腦通常用小頭)，不要買錯。
