According to the menu, S7000 can use 512 Mb Xd card and 1G MD only, it also gets the possibility to use 2G MD, but the Company won't guarantee it works properly. I have phoned to Fujifilm (HK) to ask if possible to update the software which can expand its memory capability in this respect, however, the result is in vain. Perhaps, you may try and post your result.

Yes, I bought a 1G xD Card and it works well with s7000. It also works well with Fuji E550, but it cannot be detected by Olympus 5050. So I use the xD to CF adaptor fo using it in z5050. still quite OK.
Hope guys can share these experience with me.

The selling price of MD is going cheaper and cheaper now, I have been using 1G MD with my S7000 for year and it works fine, why don't you try?

我一向都用緊512CF Ultra II , 不過兩個月前轉佐去 XD !!
有2 個原因:
1. XD load 得比 512CF Ultra II 仲快~~ 過相和save 相都快d
2. XD 1.3v 省電過 CF 3v and MD , MD 係好用電的。~~ 要留意

不過xD超貴,高容量有限!!
而家市面CF 2G,4G巳經好流行!!
