唔係mu o野 brand 唔 brand..... just wanna to 分享一下買1st DC 既歷程同feel~

我初初認識DC o係2002左右.....at first i just want to buy a 2.0 ~ 3.2MP dc..... i didnt' know anything about how exactly to choose a DC.... and my friend was using a Toshiba PDR-M65 and then 我好想又買一部.....but i found out the LCD refresh rate toooooo slow (that feels like 10fps or below...) so i gave up

next, i found the Olympus D510 幾型....so plan to order la.....but no experience to order camera online....and 一D online stores' price 係好'允'笨........個list price so cheap, but then they 逼你一定要買距D 廢柴 memory and 廢柴 batteries (they're no name brand, that's ok BUT the price is WAY more expensive than well known brand such as Sandisk!!!!)
and i found out the Smart media card they using is not really reliable.... so i gave up and do research again.....

then i found the Konica KD-200, its nice size and cheap price....so i ordered one online (at difference store, this time is alot more better.....u order what u get only) but then.....i found out its too light weight and not made in japan... : ( i returned it and 繼續我o個個 DC hunting...

then i found out 3 cameras: Canon S40, Sony DSC-P7/P9, and the Minolta F100.......they all looks cool and all has 4.0MP (by the time i didn't know anything about CCD sensors and never 想象 they are all Sony CCD.....) Canon S40 is very cool, use the cheap CF card (by the time CF is the cheapest...way cheaper than SD and ...of course, memory stick) but its very very expensive; Sony P9.....it's nice, but i was then thinking MS is very expensive and 我覺得投資落去唔化算 (i already assume i wont' just stick with 1~2 memory cards), PLUS (個人感想.....) many Sony owners i know are kinda 串.... their 態度係 “唔買Sony, 食屎啦!".....that's why initially had bad impression of Sony DC owner..i dont' want to one of these jerks!! and also their fresh rate abit slow....

so........ for cheaper price, nice GT lens, able to use AA batteries (其實唔得.....regular AA 連部機都唔夠力boot 起.....), use SD card (2nd cheapest cards by the time....and i'm glad SD is very very common & cheap now aday)..... then i decided to get one, and i found out the BUYDIG.COM selling F100 very cheap, and i read their ranking is so good.....價廉態度好...... ordered on tuesday (i still remember.....dunno why) and received on friday!! o個個moment 係非常興奮~ ^___^

My 1st DC is Sony S70.

The decision is simple.
3mp was new in the market and is good for a A4 print.
The Hong price was almost HK$9,000.- so I go for Water goods at HK$7,600.-

It was a raining saturday after lunch. I get cash from my neck (sweet wife who did approval) and bought my 1st DC in Mongkok.
I was very excited to change my wet darkroom to computer darkroom.
Crop, rotate, brighten ...... are easily done !!!

A week after the purchase, in a early morning with soft sunlight shining on a criter right outside my house I took a shot and sent to www.digitalphotocontest.com.
Surprisingly I received a mail saying that the photo was selected to be photo of the day.
Since then my enthusiasm in photo taking resumed till now.

I remember that I decided to buy my first digital camera in Winter 2002, same as you Digital Sniper. At that moment, I have some choices, Canon V3, Minolta F100, Canon S45 and Casio QVR4. I know that S45 is the best choice, fully manual functions and excellent photo quality. But same as Digital Sniper, the price for S45 is too expensive ! Finally I choose F100 and the nightmare starts ! I have to exchange 3 times after I bought the F100. Finally I know that Minolta F100 always have focus problem . Ah............................. But anyway it's my inital Digital Camera story !

yeah.....F100's initially a great dc which has many advance features by the time... say AF subjective auto focus. but it is a dc can use 4 letters to discribe...... S L O W

i had it for a little over 1 year..... then i search around for a much faster dc .... this part 2 story will continue..... now i just wanna to hear some storys from other : )

pentax 230 => S45 => A85 and FZ-20 => A200 => G-5 and LX-1
買第一部dc 係因為覺得"200m 算ok 喇, 可以一試"既心態買
而買pentax 係因為佢個lcd可以flip, 我買之後成日都flip出黎影~~
可惜...對焦, 閃燈都慢........
之後2002年尾買左s45, 呢部機真係好正, 又可以放袋日日take出街, quality仲好好tim~~~
經過1年9個月, 我買第三部機, 因為0個陣讀大學住hall, 我又睇左好多機, 我roomate又買左a80, 所以我就買左部a85俾我阿爸用(當然我都會用啦~), 而我自己就買左fz20俾自己~
買fz-20 0個陣 choose 左好耐, 又想買a200(夠wide), 又想買fz-20, 我只係想要一部有手動有防手振既"細"機, 但係兩部都好大.....唔買a200因為awb 差...
初時好擔心fz-20 d noise, 因為成日都見d人講到d noise 好恐怖咁......但係最後我都係choose左 fz-20~~~ 呢部又係好正~~~
日景一流~ 因為我少用iso100以上, 所以夜景都好好~~~(防手振好有用, 因為我係用黎影生活照多, 夜晚唔太黑可以唔開閃, 內閃又勁~ (雖然我都買左外閃...))
到左8 月 , 我又貪新鮮, trade左自己部fz-20 換左 a200(唔貴~)....點知......好後悔.....
因為用黎影生活照多, 雖然我都成日用 m mode, 但係我就唔set white balance, 諗住d機既 awb 唔會好差 , 我之前都用過幾次a200 , 覺得佢awb都好差下..........但因為玩0個幾次都唔係重要場合, 所以冇咁在意.買左之後.......
我就0係一次都幾重要既場合中用左呢部機........點知我成日都唔記得set white balance, 用 awb 既相 全黃色, 咁0岩當我 set 左 white balance 後我又用要閃燈.唔記得set番 awb...........最後出黎既相, 幾十得幾張係接受到...其他係黃就係藍.....photoshop都搞唔番..............
呢部機可能真係唔適合我, 所以我好快就放左, 而同時間我朋友又借左部g-5俾我用~ 到上月底, 我想要既機出喇~~~~~
有防振, 全手動, wide 過 35 mm 既"細機"~~~ lx-1
即刻死左0係佢手上........
雖然部機真係幾多noise~ 但係用左咁多dc, iso200 既noise都接受左lu~
(呢幾日我日日都take左部機返工~~~ 有d相真係..........noise , noise and NOISE..........., 但係唔係好多咁既相~~~ 整體上我覺得呢部機.....10000個正~~~)
我諗兩三年內, 只要呢部機唔壞, 我都唔換機lu~~~

第一部就係 DMC LC43 two years ago, 係要來影我隻寶貝鸚鵡, 果時我想買 sony or nikon 架, 點豬個 sales 無啦啦拎左部 LC43 比我睇, 仲話係 Leica 鏡... 其實我唔豬咩係 leica...=OO=" 但睇落又好似幾好wor..咁就買左佢... 至於 cannon, 令我 feel nightmare...完全唔諗.. 因為有次去 Hawaii 旅行帶左佢(film 機).. 去到先發現個 shutter 時好時壞... 累我 miss 左好多景點... 好鬼嬲... 番到 HK 立即掉左佢 ! >OO<"

第二部 dc 係 FZ20, 因為有雀友讚我部 lc 43 影d 相靚 ^OO^" 嘻嘻.. 比左我無窮的信心...買 FZ20 係因為我要去長途旅行, 想影靚風景相.. 又可以影多d 鸚鵡靚相.. 哈哈哈 ^OO^vvvvvv

initially i bought my 1st DC for take pics for friends gathering; before i bought the F100, i had a Sharp DV which also takes pics....but quaility is sooooo 低B... >___=

I'm very happy to have it.
Now I have the Pentax *ist D DSLR, but not very happy.

actually i've been thinking of upgrade to dSLR be4...but maybe after i get Pana FZ30 sin...... cuz the A200 i have and the upcoming FZ30 already can do what mostly i sanp : )

oh......KM A200.......it should be in story part 4.....after 2 & 3 ; P

My 1st DC is nikon coolpix 2500. I bought it just becoz of the twist lens! I still very like this design, better than twist LCD, because without tripod, i can put the camera on somewhere and take photo with different angles!!
