DC Fever sell the first batch at 95xx, wish it will lower the price at next batch....

Just checked with DCfever, they did have two, but it's all gone now. The girl suggest me to order one, just pay a few hundred and they will call when they have stock, but there is no telling when will they got the lens.

Did you pay the deposit and order the lens ? Do you know the arrival date of the next batch ?
I want to order the lens too. It's time consuming to phone them daily asking about the status of the lens.

No, I didn't. I got some bad experience, not with DCfever though.
Looks like everybody love that lens :)

Thanks.....As it is over-priced now as f4 lens, and the price has room to drop further in next 6 months (I wish). I will wait until it drop to $8xxx...In the meantime, I will monitor closely the gossips and offical review of the lens....before decide to own it or not.....

Probably a good idea.
I checked the Offical Canon Japan site, the price of 24-105L should be about two-third of 24-70L. Which is about 7k to 8K.

我都係Canon 用家 ,不過都覺得枝鏡0係香港真係貴得幾離譜, 日本先賣到$7xxx ,e家仲聽講枝鏡有問題 ,真係想睇下之前係咁話賣$9xxx都話抵個班大C有咩好講

希望支鏡真係停產啦, 呢支鏡太爭議性, 包括價錢同質素......
雖然支鏡好貴下, 但咁耐以黎國內外買左o既人, 包括小弟, 都無咩人評價佢為\"不值"、"名不符實"、"想放", 相反正面評價卻唔少: very sharp, high contrast, good IS等, 惟較多人提及的缺點只有一項: 貴!
所以抵唔抵最重要係你用唔用得著.....用得著, 平d當然好, 但貴左d....又有咩辦法。
