我用 nikon D50 ,想買SIGMA EF-500 DG SUPER ?它的資料同NIKON SB800 有得揮,但平成$900 ,大家有用SIGMA 閃燈嗎? 俾D意見丫唔該

I used 500 DG super for Pentax DS, I also have D70s and play my friend SB800, 500 DG super is so far so good. See below :

- SB800 is smaller than 500 DG
- SB800 zoom head is silent & faster than 500 DG
- SB800 lock at hot shoe is push type and very smart, 500 DG lock is the old sort of turning ring.
- SB800 has auto mode, 500DG do NOT have, so SB800 can use on non-TTL DC with auto mode but 500DG can only use manual mode.
- SB800 seems more accurate flash output (this may be biased as my 500DG is used on DS)
- SB800 surely can work as TTL slave flash triggered by built-in flash, 500DG is not sure - 500DG has an slave flash channel can respond to all flash from whatever DC, but the flash output must be manual mode and it may not syn flash at same time if master flash is with pre-flash for TTL metering.

Now i am using Metz auto flash for D70s, if i have $$, i will buy SB800.

The price difference is $900, you judge whether it is worth ^_^

If you ask at Nikon zone, I think most people will tell you to buy SB800.
