The weight of EF 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 DO IS USM is only 790g and its price is only $8,900. The weight is lighter and the price is less expensive than "L" len of sme specificcation. Why no people interested in it???

Because the aperature is not attractive,this lense only have F4.5 ,most people will buy little white instead of this lens since F2.8.And the price for little white is just $500 more than DO lense!

DO is not same class as 'L'.
DO is just a new technology, which can reduce the size of the lens, but the quality is still ...

Because f4.5-5.6 is slow, especially problematic for long teles. Yes it has IS, but the viewfinder will be painfully dim and AF performance will be compromised. Not to mention the lens has to be stopped down for sharper images, means even slower. This lens has an okay combination, but not great. At $8900 it is no bargain. I would choose 70-200/4L or used 70-200/2.8L any day.
