2mp = 2百萬像素 = 1600 x 1200 像素 = 5.3 x 4 inches = 4R photo print size

Since human eyes can tell no more than 300 dot per inch, thus the optimal print size is calculated as follow :

1600 / 300 dot per inch = 5.3 inches
1200 / 300 dot per inch = 4 inches

Assuming 4R print size is 6 inches x 4 inches.
Then a 2mp image can print 4R decent photo.

By the way, viewing photo on computer LCD monitor needs only 1mp (1百萬像素 ie 1024 x 768 dots)

Select the shooting mode should be able to get decent photos:
ie
• Night Scenery
• Night Portrait
• Fireworks
• Party
• Starry Sky
• Candle

Flash light specification :
Range (ISO auto): W 0.6m - 4.1m, T: 0.3m - 2.3m
At tele zoom the flash covers only about 6 feet.

Suggest to use wide end of zoom for in door shots because you can get closer and less affected by camera shake (shake during the press of shutter button).
