I have been thinking over two months of
N1 and T9 which one I'm going to pick.
And I now have decided to buy T9 before
X'mas, please support me and tell me it is
a good choice to buy T9. thanks

T9 is a good compact DC. Anti-shake is powerful and the picture quality is quite good in its class.

I played with both in Sony showroom yesterday. Your choice is correct. Picture quality shown in LCD of T9 is noticeably better than N1, they have the same no. of pixels afterall. T9 has faster point-and-shoot response time. And although N1 has 3-inch LCD, in play mode, 3 big buttons are displayed onscreen which really defeats the purpose of having such big LCD. Perhaps there is a way to make those buttons disappear but I didn't have time to explore. You might want to check it out when placing your purchase.

I bought this last week. Be careful to shoot night picture by using flash, it always gets red eye. Remember to switch on 'Reduction Red Eye' which may sometimes help or directly not using flash and by using high ISO. The quality is considred good and color is more saturated i.e. colorful but not natural (most people will like this including me, all series of Sony are having this charactistic).

Barrylee,

No need to set every time. You have to switch on the reduction 'on' all the time. The flash is only activated when you press the flash button at the back and quite convenient. However, not every picture can eliminate the red eye. The logic is before flashing, there is emission of infrared red ray to stimulate your eye to adapt the flash. High ISO plus the flash can get a nice pictures from the subject and the background.

To be better quality, you may consider to buy IXUS750 with same price. I bought this is for my family use. I have another DSLRs to get a better quality.

To siboy : I dont like N1 becoz no.1 the touch
screen, its easy to break I think, no. 2 it looks
funny and too big for girl to carry
