EF 70-200 f4L would be your choice.

70-300 use micro usm only, slower focus speed

70-300 IS quite slow autofocus lens, may be a little bit soft on tele side.

Why not buy 70-200/f4 water? $4xxx in MK, light & portable, very good for tracking (panning) fast moving objects. Excellent autofocus speed.
