It has been announced in the following link that the new FZ-7 will be available in March for U$399.

Main improvements, apart from 6 MP which is not importamt to me, are manual focus thru the joystick control, shutter speed up to 60 second from 8 second, higher ISO up to 1600. The handgrip is much better than the FZ-1 which I own.

My FZ-1 still working fine.
Movie mode is also improved for wide screen.
If ISO 1600 produces high quality 3mp image, it is definitely a big plus.

Don't coming againt La 1/2.5 CCD 6MP too more noise, I am scared to death about iso1600.

I doubt you can get 6MP at ISO1600. I beg Canon, Sony and KM will come up with their own updated versions soon. And their noise level will be similar, all inferior compared with DSLR.

Any DC with the 12X Leica zoom lens and the Fuji F11 sensor should be interesting though.
