I have IXUS 750 & Sony T7, I will recommend u buy IXUS 750 IF u are boy & can hold steady, lens quality is very good, lower noise than Sony, even though the CCD is made from Sony), but bulky.

T9 should also be a good DC (I assume lens quality the same as T7), very thin, if u are a girl, this is the best slim DC for u.

I've not try IXUS 55, NO comment.

I done have Kodak V570, if the lens quality is ths same as V550, forget it. I bought a V550 to play a few month ago & exchange in the shop (add $ to buy IXUS 750) after one day.... u know why? 1. SLOW response in writing to card (due to small buffer), 2. noisy, 3. soft image in all range....

WILL NEVER RECOMMAND ANY KODAK TO others unless u are die hard Kodak friends.
