Besides, please note that the coating under mirror is never really flat. This is uncontrollable in light reflection.
Moreover, there is still loss in pure reflection. The reflected light is always dimmer than the original source.

You can have an experiment using several mirrors (say, 5) for reflection and you will finally find that the final light is less than 50% of the original.

Do you study optical cable?
It uses the principal of refraction, not reflection.

very disappoint @ Nikon S4's movie mode.....only 15 fps : (

if it has 30fps, also the Aparture 2.8 instead of 3.5, will be a big hit : P

yeah....pretty much the same size ... TZ1 abit shorter.... 2.29 inch tall, vs. S4's 2.7 inch.
