本人是學生一名
玩唔起DSLR
因為買左機又冇錢買鏡
所以想買一部好D 既 DC
FZ30 & A200 兩部都好吸引
不知如何選擇
想請各師兄指點指點

well...... go to www.dpreview.com u'll see the new cameras from Canon..... too tempting....

i really looking forward a canon pro2..... if its ISO can go 50~800 or 1600... and lens is internal-zoom type.... then by the time i'll say bye bye to my FZ30 : P

but i'll keep my KM A200 , why?

1. it has rear-sync flash mode
2. it has meter indicator (not too accurate, but better than FZ30 has none) when using MF
3. ISO won't be locked up like FZ30 does
4. use CF (which mean u can use SD as well by using the SD-to-CF adapter)

well......depence what u want actually, FZ30 has faster write-to-card time than A200, and its weight is good....not too light, also the lens' design and the smoothness of zoom~

but for learning, i still prefer A200

if u have quite a few SD cards and prefer longer zoom range.... then go for FZ30~~

Things to consider:

1. FZ30要加adaptor先去到28mm (135 equiv.),A200唔需要

2. 相反地A200去到200mm,FZ30去到420mm

3. 依家SD咭居然仲平過CF咭!!!不過A200可以加adaptor一樣用到

4. A200要用專用閃光燈,FZ30呢方面選擇多好多,不過用唔到TTL

5. 體積同重量計都係FZ30大過A200

其他野我就覺得分別不大

2 thins i hate about the FZ30:

1. when using external flash, ISO locked to 100

2. the digital zoom button is very #$%^&*.......... has to go to menu to activate..... A200 has dedicated digital zoom in / out button... more convinent

FZ30's nice long range sniper DC....but still has many area needs to improve......

A200 is quite all-round good and more user friendly

If you do not need fast response and you have lots of time to take still objects FZ30 is better, Leica lens give very sharp and goo looking photo.

But If you want somthing light and small to put in your coat pocket, take self-portrait, and do not need to take photo from $50 seat for concert, A200 is a very good friendly camera.

If you do not have money better buy Minolta Z6 or something in that price range is cheaper and very useable. If you are spending money for a FZ30, it will be better to get a DSLR(eg. 350D) with just kit lens, or cheap lens from Sigma/tarmron. Just buy more in the future when you start to work or save more money. Unless you need something to take video.
