Hi, I notice IXUS's cameras is always more expensive than Powershot. I know IXUS is more stylish and small. While Powershot are a little bigger. I have a Canon DSLR sometimes it's very inconvient to carry it around all the time. So I want to buy a small and affordable camera to carry around. But I donno what are the difference bwteween IXUS and Powershot. I had A200 before but it took so long to let the flash charged up. I am not sure it's one of the A series problem. I don't really need a very pro DC so I am considering IXUS i zoom. Is it a good deal? Thanks

I think you are concern the speed of Canon A series .

The recent model A610/A620 was a good choice, whatever startup, shot to shot, flash charge up, loading or saving, it give a good performance. The only disadventage is larger size than IXUS.

Picture quality much better than IXUS 55 cos' it use large size CCD (1/1.8")

In Vancouver, IXUS 55 and i Zoom both sell the same price. ($399.99 CAD)
The sales said both specs are the same. Except IXUS 55 has a larger LCD is it true?
